Twanisha is an 8-year-old girl from Oklahoma who is hoping to be adopted.
If a trio of terrific and active youngsters would fit well into your family, Jelvis, Twanisha, and Maria might be the sibling group for you! While they have two older sisters with whom they will not be adopted, these three are counting on being adopted together.
Jelvis is the oldest, and only boy. He is a good big brother to his younger sisters, and enjoys visits with them. Jelvis currently lives with one of his older sisters, and has monthly visits with his younger sisters. Jelvis has a male mentor, and benefits from a positive male role model.
Physically healthy and a strong young boy, Jelvis enjoys high-spirited outdoor activities.
Educationally, Jelvis has a plan that helps him success, and has been promoted to the 5th grade for the 2009-2010 school year.
Next, we have Twanisha, a spunky little girl. At a recent home visit, she was happy to show her social worker her ‘high-heeled’ sandals, which were purchased for Independence Day, along with a new swimsuit! She is a friendly little one with a happy disposition and an affinity for water parks.
Twanisha will be in the 3rd grade for the 2009-2010 school years.
The youngest of this group is Maria, who will soon start the 1st grade. Maria is friendly and outgoing, and is able to express empathy about other children. For instance, she worries about her brother Jelvis when she does not get to see him, and talks about wanting to be adopted with him.
Jelvis, Twanisha, and Maria do well in a structured environment where they know what to expect, and what is expected of them. They desperately want to be adopted together. These youngsters need a family who can love them, guide them through adjustments and setbacks, and be proud of them for all of their many strengths and talents.
