As the oldest, Tyus enjoys his role of big brother. He likes outdoor activities and sports. He plays football in a Little League and has several trophies. He also enjoys skateboarding, basketball and riding his bicycle. He attends church with his foster family and is planning to join the Boy Scouts through the church. He has lived with the same foster family for a few years and has adjusted well. Tyus is usually friendly, and when he has difficulty controlling his anger, he responds well to redirection by an adult. He is placed in a special education classroom, and his teachers report that he is doing well academically. Counseling and medication management help Tyrus keep on track. Tyshanta is a bright and spontaneous little girl with a pleasant smile and demeanor. She takes pride in her appearance and likes to be neatly dressed and well groomed. Tyshanta enjoys playing with her dolls, making cards and drawing. She also likes playing soccer and swimming. She attends church regularly where she sings in the choir and is in the praise dance ministry. Tyshanta is a happy child who is always eager to please her family. The youngest sibling is Tyquon, an active, affectionate little boy who is currently placed with his sister. He enjoys being outside and is very interested in playing sports. He enjoys basketball and swimming. His foster mother sees him as having athletic abilities. Tyquon attends church and sings in the children’s choir. He is in a special education classroom and receives speech therapy. He sometimes displays aggressive behaviors. These three children spend one weekend a month together and enjoy their visits.
