William is an 8-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.
William is an active and outgoing child. Initially, William is shy but once he gets comfortable with someone, he can be talkative. You will know when William is comfortable with you because he will always try to make you laugh.William enjoys playing with his brothers daily, He can get upset at his brothers for one reason or another, but he does not like to be away from his brothers for too long. William likes to watch television. Most of the time he plays with his action figures with his brothers. William expresses there is nothing better to do than playing outdoors. He is often the creative mind behind many of the games his brothers come up with when they are playing outside. Many times he challenges his brothers to races and outside adventures. William can be rougher with his brothers at times, but his behavior can be redirected with the implementation of specific consequences and rewards he can relate to. He does well in school.
Edi, William and Larry are close in age and the bond between them is strong as well. The boys enjoy playing together and particularly like outdoor play. At times the brothers can play roughly with each other and their toys, but they are learning how to adjust to play not so rough. Edi is the oldest of the three children and is more of a laid back. It is usually William who acts more like the leader in the group and he is usually the initiator of things to do. Larry is very active and enjoys participating in sports especially running and racing with his brothers. Edi, William and Larry will do well with a family who goes on outings and is active. In addition to this, they need a loving and supporting family who will provide the ongoing family structure that they need. They may do better in a home where they are the only children.
