William is a 12-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

William is a friendly child who has a good since of humor. He is very outgoing and loves to talk. William will talk to you about anything that comes to his mind. He is not afraid to voice his opinion and is not shy about asking for things. For fun, William loves to play with his Wii or PSP. He also really likes Spiderman and enjoys playing with his toys. At times, William is able to play well with other children, however, he needs to be reminded to allow others to have their personal space. He also is very active and has trouble concentrating and being attentive, especially during school. William is diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and is working on every day life skills. He continues to work on these issues and is making great progress. William has the ability to attach and responds better to adults then to peers.

William needs a family who can offer a lifetime commitment to him and aid him as he grows older. This family will need to advocate for him in school and in other areas of his life. William will likely do best in a family with few or no other children who can give him plenty of attention. He will do well with an active family and one who likes to spend time with one another. William really wants to be adopted!
