Description
William “Will” (12/90) is a friendly youth who can approach issues with a major serious effect or he can come across as the “life of the party” with lots of jokes and laughter. Will is a typical teenager who has a unique interest in clothing and shoes. He enjoys saving his money to buy “name brand” clothes and tennis shoes. He takes very good care of his possessions and appreciates the good things in life. Will likes to play football and shoot hoops with his peers when time allows. For quiet time activities he shared that he really isn’t into watching that much television but he does enjoy watching re-runs of “Sanford & Son”. He also enjoys watching comedy movies. Will is not a picky eater and enjoys most all foods, especially the Crab Ragoon at the local Chinese restaurants. Academics are somewhat of a struggle for Will, and he does better in a small group environment. He is interested in attending college when he completes high school and would like to become a veterinarian. Will has voiced this career choice for some time now and indicates he would like to have a big dog as a pet to “hang out with”. Will enjoys one-on-one attention and having conversations with adults. He has no problem warming up to adults that he feels have a sincere interest in him. He is unique in speaking his mind when he feels the need. Will’s philosophy about life is, “Keep your head up and keep on moving. Don’t let anyone get you down”. When asked how he reacts when he doesn’t get his way, Will replied that he may get mad, whine and complain, but quickly responded that he doesn’t get mad as easily as he used to. Will also chuckled and stated some people might describe him as a “little spoiled”. Will is a youth that needs a lot of structure and supervision; along with creative effort to keep him busy, as he doesn’t like to be bored.
