Winston is tall and thin, with dark wavy hair, a big smile, and lots of personality. He is upbeat, confident, and like being the team leader. He works well with younger children. He likes board games and basketball, crafts, taking pictures, working puzzles, and being outside. He is driven by money (like most kids his age) but he is generous. He thinks of others, will spend his money on others, and do what he can to help others. He has a life book he really enjoys working on and putting pictures in it to look at when he grows up. “Winston is funny, he likes to make people happy and have fun.” His adoption case manager says, “Winston is always upbeat and ready for the next adventure, I think he would do well with an active family.” Winston needs a forever home that will provide me with love, stability and permanency. Consistency and guidance are also important! Homes with no children or a few children would be best for Winston. Children his age are not a necessity since he does well with younger children. He takes medication to help him with his impulsiveness and focus, so he will need someone who will advocate for his therapeutic needs. He does not need special services in school, but may need tutoring every now and then. He needs a family who will truly invest in him……He knows the right “match” is just waiting to happen.
