Meet Zachary... Zachary is very active. He loves playing games and being outside. He does not watch television very often and finds more enjoyment in active things. Zachary is very helpful around the house and can do most housekeeping chores with supervision and guidance. Zachary enjoys spending time with his foster father and helping him with outside chores. He loves attention from his foster parents. Zachary also enjoys attending church, though he has not had much opportunity to participate in youth group due to his attention span. Although Zachary receives services at school to assist with his behavior, he typically maintains an "A" average. He is loved by his teachers. He is a very smart child even though his behaviors are sometimes challenging. Zachary is in therapy and takes medication to help with his activity level. The medication is effective when monitored and stabilized. He requires supervision, guidance, and direction, as well as a family who enjoys a child who is very active and fun. Zachary also needs continued guidance on boundaries, controlling anger, and appropriate emotional outlets. What Others Say About Zachary... Those who know Zachary say, "He's smart and bright" or "He's very loving." Zachary wants a family who does not put him last on their list of responsibilities. He wants to be someone's son. Zachary's foster mother says that he's a wonderful child. She thinks that it might be better if Zachary didn't have to share parental attention with younger siblings.
