Zeke was born in Guatemala on 4/1/00 and has been in the US since August 2006. He was in the orphanage since he was 8 months old. He was adopted by a single parent with 5 other children who feels that she is unable to provide further care. She feels replacement is in his best interest. Zeke has some slightly unusual facial features, genetic tests were run and he was found to not have any genetic conditions. He did have heart surgery while in Guatemala but has no current concerns. Zeke is currently homeschooled. He did not receive any education while in the orphanage. He does have some developmental delays but is making progress. Up to this point, the adoptive family has never had him in counseling. The adoptive mother feels that he has attachment issues although he has no diagnosis. Zeke can be jealous of younger children but does well with older children and adults. He likes to be the center of attention. He enjoys playing with toys and being outside. This is an independent adoption and there are minimal fees
